McFly got all hot and sweaty last night…
Ooo look at the McFly boys, they’re really rocking out, aren’t they? The boys or men as they are now, played in Oxford last night as part of their Keep Calm and Play Louder tour.
It’s nice to seem them playing together, rather than doing separate things like eating testicles in the jungle, salsa dancing and stripping for Twitter pics (you know when Danny got in the buff to say thanks to everyone who voted for Dougie to become king of the jungle).
After the show Danny tweeted: “Oxford your were great! Thanks south for another kick ass show ”
Tom tweeted something similar, but made sure he said happy birthday to Danny, whose birthday it is today: “Thanks Oxford and Happy Birthday @Dannymcfly.”
The boys are set to produce their next album themselves and they are hoping to get others involved with it, in particular Jessie J. Danny recently revealed: “When we were recording the last album with Dallas Austin, Jessie popped in and cooked us a bit of dinner so it would be cool to get her.”
So McFly fans out there have a lot to be excited about at the moment, not only are they currently touring but they will be releasing an album this year. If you’re not a fan you can still appreciate them looking rather sexy sweating on stage and hopefully at some point they will get naked again.

Want to know every single little thing there is to know about McFly? Well, you’re in luck, as the boys are planning to release a tell-all biography about their journey to fame, fortune and Reality TV victory.
Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher and Harry Judd have signed a deal with Transworld publishers to release a tome this autumn, and the book promises to give the boys’ fans a warts and all account of the band’s time in the spotlight. “[It] will include surprising tales of growing up in the limelight and the euphoric highs and desperate lows along the way,” say the publishers. We didn’t want to do one of those tacky books
So why the delay in releasing their memoirs? One Direction are on their second book already. Singer Tom Fletcher tweeted to tell fans that the boys wanted to wait until they actually had a long enough career to have something interesting to write about,

McFly help crown winners of The Next Brit Thing (and look hot, obvs)
They’re so noble
McFly have once again shown everyone that not only are they gorgeous, but giving too, after helping to selec three unsigned artists to crown winners of Next BRIT Thing – a national music competition for 11-19 year olds backed by the UK music industry, The BRIT Awards and the Government.
Swanky.
All the contestant seemed to leave Dougie feeling a bit inadequate, as he tweeted;
“Just been judging some awesome young dudes for Next Brit Thing. Put my bass playing to shame!”
The boys helped pick Paul Shelvin as the winner of the general category;
…Sarah Gardner as the classical winner, and the band Floodliners for the songwriting category.
“We just judged at The Next Brit Thing and met some exceptionally talented people,” tweeted Tom after the show.
“Seriously awesome!!
“Saw some amazing female guitarists tonight too…i need to practice!”
How wise and musical of them.
